There were 13 Exmouth Harriers taking part in Sunday’s Bath Half Marathon, writes Dave Eveleigh.

Of the 11,000 finishers almost 5,000 were female - gender equality in terms of participation in running races does not seem far away now!

Jane MacDonald finished in the top third of the field (3680th) in 1:52:22, but was 55thout of getting on for 500 runners in her women age 45–49 category.

Diane Richards was 7645th overall, 238th in that same 45-49 age group and recorded 2:07:08.

Nicola Musgrove’s time was 2:11:34 and she was 8341st overall. One of the reasons Bath is so popular is because it is so PB (Personal Best) friendly.

It certainly did the trick for Adam Miller who was 69th (out of 11,000 remember) and again trimmed his best time, here down to 74:38.

Mike Musgrove was 130th and 19th in his age 40-44 group in which there were 805 runners.

Musgrove ran 78:38 just shy of his PB.

In his debut race over the distance Richard Hawes clocked a fine 89:10, for 512th overall and was 35th of the 754 who contested his Men age 45–49 group.

Martin Richards was 7288th in 2:04:30 and 692nd, also in the 45-49 category.
