Exmouth Harriers Lisa Hatchard raced over 5,600 metres last Sunday writes Dave Eveleigh.

If that particular distance sounds strange it’s because she was racing in the Exeter Triathlon Club’s Aquathlon Series where the so-called ‘sprint’ race consisted of a 60-metre swim followed by a 5K run.

Hatchard served up an impressive performance!

She was first female novice and fifth overall of more than forty female finishers.

He swim time was 8:37 and her run time was 24:06.
