In a terrific celebration of cricket, Exmouth Under-13 girls took on a mixed group of players from the Exmouth Ladies softball teams.
Both sides demonstrated some outstanding batting, bowling and fielding in a match full of fun, which ended with the youngsters just taking victory by five runs.
Exmouth Under-11 girls have also been enjoying some fine form, as they recorded a double victory, first beating Heathcoat by 11 runs in a tight match and then Culmstock were defeated by 34 runs.
Not to be outdone, the Exmouth Under-11 boys took on local rivals Budleigh and two wickets each for Harry Winks and Dylan Hennesy helped to restrict Budleigh to 112/8.
Exmouth recovered from losing two early wickets and fine contributions from Joshua Holmes (31), Peter Berry (30) and captain Freddie Connock (20) took them to a seven-wicket success.
