Exmouth carpet-fitter second in the Exe to Axe race

An Exmouth carpet-fitter finished second in the Exe to Axe race.

David Parrott, aged 30, took on the 21-mile coastal path challenge which covers over 4,000ft of climbing and was the runner-up.

Parrott had been training really hard for the event and is not a member of any running clubs.

His next challenge will be competing in the Cornish Classic Quarter Ultra Marathon.
