Exmouth Bridge Club duo achieve excllent result nationally in Spring Simultaneous Pairs

The British Spring Simultaneous Pairs was held at the Exmouth Bridge Club last week, writes Carla Pickering.

At club level, despite significant fluctuations, Shelagh Hughes and Chris

Thomas notched up a respectable score of 58.44 per cent to came 109th in a field of 861 entrants.

Mike Crelley and Keith Ponsford were 175th with 56.28 per cent, while Teresa Tea and Carla Pickering managed to increase their club score to a respectable 52.11 per cent and that was sufficient to see them placed equal 321st nationally.
