The almost inevitable cancellation of the Western League season has Exmouth Town manager Kevin Hill turning his thoughts to a new assault on the division.
While a final decision has yet to be confirmed, the campaign is effectively over.
“We’ve been told the season will be curtailed and a lot of clubs in our league understandably can’t afford to resume games without the bar facilities being fully open,” said Hill.
“It is just a case of the FA confirming the position but, as far as my planning is concerned, the season is over.
“Nobody wanted this to happen but I’m glad we can effectively now start looking ahead to next season and what we can achieve from August onward.
“I know there are details for the FA to work out but my plans as a manager are already about how we can hit the ground running.”
