Six of the Exmouth Belles travelled to take part in the Chippenham Half Marathon and recorded some stunning results.

The race, organised by the Chippenham Harriers, started in the town and continued through the country lanes and villages to the finish.

Conditions were very hot and sunny, but that did not deter Jane McDonald who completed the event in 100 minutes to land a new personal best.

Next home for the Belles was Louise Watts in a time of 1:55.

Lisa Broad and Andrea Johnson both crossed the finishing line in 1:57.

Kate Smith was next Belle home in a time of two hours and six minutes and Cally Rowland followed four minutes later.

Another Exmouth Belle, Clare Medlock took part in the Cheltenham Half Marathon.

Cheltenham is a popular destination for a road race set in the heart of the stunning regency town. Broad lined trees lined the avenues finishing off with running around the race course Medlock was home in a time of two hours and four minutes.
