The newly formed Exe table tennis club junior league has proved very popular with 18 junior members playing competitively in three divisions, writes Richard Wellington.
Division one sees Aaron Sansom at the top having won three games out of three, with Wojciech Cyron hot on his heels.
Matthew Wellington, after a slow start, has now found his form and won the last two of his matches.
Division two, which is mainly made up of new members to the club, has Ryan Britton racing ahead after winning all four of his games with Jack May close behind having won three out of four.
Joe Heard and Will Dean are sharing third place and are still in contention to gain promotion to division one.
The third division, which also has a lot of new club members, is being led by Andrew Rock with Yana Tushingham close behind having won her last two games.
Within each division everyone plays five matches after which scores are tallied and the top two in each division will gain promotion, and the bottom two, relegation, this ensures that there is a mix of players at the end of each round of matches and everyone plays matches against opponents of similar ability.
