Exe IV ladies make stunning sart to new league season

Exe IV made a stunning start to the new season with a 6-0 success over Ashmoor II.

Two goals before the break and four after were no more than a dominant Exe deserved. What was noticeable was that after a half-time talk from Emma White the pace of the Exe game increased dramatically and the passing was very crisp thereafter.

A very inexperienced Exe V went down 6-3 to Okehampton.

Exe had a lot of ‘back to hockey’ ladies in their ranks, but they made a good start and the early exchanges were even-steven.

There were plenty of positives to take out of the game for Exe and it is hoped more fixtures will be put together for the team.
