Archant

Exe IV were far too powerful for hosts Ashmoor who they thumped 6-0.

Despite having just ten players it was Exe who bossed the game from first whistle to last. Sarah Bennett put Exe ahead in the 15th minute and Megan Langley doubled the advantage from a penalty corner.

Two further Bennett goals made it 4-0.

There were still two further first half goals from skipper Laura James and a fourth for Bennett as Exe trooped off at the break 6-0 up!

In the second half Exe took their foot off the gas and there were no further goals, but the outcome had been determined much earlier in the contest!
