Exe IV edged out by SOHC IV in close encounter

SOHC IV 2, Exe IV 1

Exe IV were edged out in a close encounter that saw the side serve up a shift of great team passing, disciplined defending and attacking, that made the contest one that was very good on the eye!

Daisy Bowmer had a fantastic first outing as sweeper, making some crucial tackles and great passes out to the wings.

The two goals for Sidmouth and Ottery were well worked, but Exe continued to attack and their endeavor was rewarded when Katie Parr scored.

In the last ten minutes Exe threw everything they had at the home side, but were unable to find a finish to match the superb approach play.
