Exe IV 3, Teign III 0

Exe started the game in a confident mood after a pre-match pep talk from the skipper.

Evie Jones rifled the ball home from a short corner to give Exe an early lead.

The home forwards made great runs into the D throughout the game and kept the opposition goalie working hard. Helen Warren doubled the lead just before half-time.

After the break the Exe midfield continued to control proceedings and it was no surprise when Ellie Stroud finished off the scoring with a brilliantly struck shot.

The Player of the Match was awarded to Helen Fyfe who worked tirelessly in midfield.
