Archant

Nutwell Court provided the venue for the Exe Equestrian Club’s open show, kindly sponsored by Leesons, Honiton and Nutwell Saddlery.

The show proved very popular, with riders coming from all over Devon and Somerset.

Classes included showing, show jumping, working hunter classes, plus the ever-popular Horse and Hound class.

This involves the rider jumping a course with his horse, dismounting, collecting his dog and jumping the course again, on foot, all this against the clock. Invariably, it is the rider that tires first!

The programme of events continue with a Two Phase Day on July 4th, again at Nutwell Court, followed by a Cream Tea Pleasure Ride, on July 25th, which, as the name suggests, ends with a cream tea!
