The ladies of East Devon Golf club made their mark in Devon County competitions last week, writes Helen Chivers

Up and coming junior Evie Stone was victorious in the County Medal Finals at Axe Cliff last Tuesday.

Scoring was difficult on a sunny, but cold and windy day, and Evie conquered the elements to beat the 31-strong field with a nett 77.

Stone had her father Matt as caddie to keep her focussed, and was rewarded by winning the Silver Coronation Medal and bringing the Centenary Salver back to East Devon Golf Club for the year.
