EXMOUTH has in its midst a young lad who is looking quite capable of continuing on the fast road to success in his given sport.Fifteen year old Jack Drinkall recently claimed his fourth successive race win at Dunkeswell. In the final meeting of last month, the Exmouth Community College boy, racing in the Junior Max Class, picked up his fourth straight win.During the race he also managed to beat the track record twice as he first broke the old best time and then topped that later on a turbo- powered day!His fourth consecutive chequered flag means that he leads the way in the current Club Championship.Last weekend Drinkall raced at Buckmore Park in Round 3 of the National Super One series. He reached the Final where he found himself on the back of the grid. This did not deter the youngster as he powered his way through the field to eventually finish in a creditable 6th place with a time of 39.12, which was, in fact ,the second fastest time of the day which underlines the general opinion that the Exmouth youngster is up there amongst the top ten in his age group in the county.
