CS Dynamo’s Will Barrett lands the British Cycling Go-Ride South West Young Volunteer of the Year Award, writes Steve Medlock.

Six CS Dynamo cyclists represented the club at the British Cycling Go-Ride Regional Conference in Bridgwater.

Keith White, Will Barrett, Stace Birks, Ian Bowden, Andy Waite and Steve Medlock were on duty on behalf of the Exmouth-based club.

The conference was well attended with over 70 delegates from the various Go-Ride clubs within the South West.

After an initial up-beat introduction from British Cycling, the delegates formed into small groups and went off to attend seminars on coaching, volunteering, welfare and marketing.

At the end of the day a prize giving event was held at which presentations were made to young volunteers to recognise the work they had put in to their organisation over the past 12 months.
