WOODBURY suffered a fifth successive E Division defeat when beaten by visiting Kentisbeare.

The home side batted first and were bundled out for 111, knocked off for the loss of six wickets by the Mid Devon side.

This weekend, which marks the completion of the first third of the Francis Clark Devon league season, Woodbury seek to break the sequence of defeats when they travel to Kilmington.

It will not be easy for the villagers though as the East Devon side who have suffered successive relegations, have made a bright start to this season and are unbeaten five games in.
