Woodbury and Exmouth met in an under-11 friendly game that Woodbury won by a margin of 77 runs.

Woodbury batted first and, led by a superb innings from Gwyn Parks, who made 30 before retiring, and Sam Corney, with 19, they closed on 146 – 7 from their twenty overs.

For Exmouth the wicket takers were, Wright (1-33), McDonald (1-26),

Horler (2-12), Devon Short (1-31) and Hall (1-23). There was also a very smart caught and bowled from young Horler.

The Exmouth reply took up all but two deliveries of their allotted twenty overs as they were bowled out for 69 with seven different Woodbury bowlers claiming wickets.

Jacob Mclellan (1-11), Gwyn Parks (1-5), Tom Bird (1-6), Connall Deehan –Jackson (1-2), Alex Manning (1-12), Sam Corney (2-0) and Zac Mclellan (2-4) were the successful wicket takers whilst, amongst some exceptional ground fielding, there were three catches held by Michael Cooper and one catch taken by Jacob Mclellan from his brother Zac`s bowling whilst wicket keeper Alex Giles also effected a stumping.
