BUDLEIGH A won their Under-10 softball game at the Town Lane, Woodbury, ground by 64 runs.Batting first, Woodbury chalked up a healthy total of 154 with the top run scoring pairings being Connall Deehan-Jackson and Sam Corney (24) and Luke Davies and Joseph Oates (20), whilst the pick of the visiting bowling was skipper Alex Taylor (2-4) and other wickets fell to Josh Williams (1-9) and Tom Cooke (1-16).When Budleigh A batted, they produced some outstanding partnerships as runs flowed from Eddie White and Josh Williams (22), Tommy Dawson and Max Mejzner (26), Will Millar and Jake Stubbings (30) and the pairing of the skipper, Alex Taylor and Tom Cooke, who scored 40 between them as their side rattled along to a close of 218. The pick of the Woodbury bowlers were Joseph Oates (1-13) and Ben Matten (1-16).
