EXMOUTH III skipper Tom Sampford led from the front with a superb unbeaten half century to guide his team to a 9 wicket win over Feniton.

EXMOUTH III skipper Tom Sampford led from the front with a superb unbeaten half century to guide his team to a 9 wicket win over Feniton.Zeahan Ashfaq (3-25) and Jay McAllister (2-10) did the damage with the ball as Feniton were bundled out for just 93 on a damp surface but, even though conditions were just as tough for the Exmouth batsmen, skipper Sampford reigned supreme as he and Carl Short saw their side to victory for the loss of just Julian Page's wicket.Sampford said: "It was a fantastic team effort in which the fielding support for the excellent bowling, was first class. It was a good effort all round.
