Singh sparkles as Saints clobber Plymouth Civil Service

TOPSHAM St James' Sunday XI skipper Kam Singh led by example as his side thumped hosts Plymouth Civil Service and Roborough in their latest South Devon cricket League match.

Singh struck an unbeaten 11 that included thirteen 4s and five 6s to lead his side to a close of 296-5 from their 40 overs.

There was also a half century from Sam Cooper whilst Alex Sparkes spanked a 28 ball, unbeaten 48 that included six 4s and two 6s.

The hosts reply was then hit by a superb spell from Raj Rao who send down four overs, three of which were maidens, and he claimed five wickets for just four runs as the reply saw the final wicket go down on 92, leaving Topsham St James winners by a whipping margin of 204 runs.
