Simms and Fordham guide Woodbury Under-10s to Exmouth win

Woodbury Under-10s were 89-run winners against Exmouth.

The Maer youngsters batted first and were bowled out for 124.

Seven different Woodbury bowlers claimed wickets led by Sammy Pratt (2-6) and Jack Draper (2-14).

Sam Raey, Henry Simms, Will Cartlidge and Alfie Pond picked up a wicket each.

Woodbury’s effort with the bat saw them close on 213.

Henry Simms and Bertie Fordham were the highest contributors with a partnership of 36, whilst Will Cartlidge and Jaques Vissiere put on 31.

The other runs came from the pairing of Sammy Pratt and Alfie Pond who scored 26 and Sam Raey and Jack Draper who added 20.
