TOPSHAM St James Sunday XI bounced back to winning ways with a 74 run win over Kenn.

After losing another toss the Saints were invited to bat and, thanks to the efforts of Jalitha Perera, who hit 61 from just 49 balls faced, and skipper Jonny Horne who blasted an unbeaten 88 from only 50 deliveries, the Saints were able to close on a commanding 262-7.

Kenn began the reply well and it was not until the introduction of Peter Skinner to the attack that the Saints were able to get amongst the wickets.

Once the first was taken others fell at regular intervals with the final Kenn wicket falling on 188.

Skinner finished with four wickets and there was a three wicket haul for Parminder Singh.
