Pym hits unbeaten century as Topsham St James ladies defeat North Devon

Topsham St James Women’s team had an excellent win over North Devon.

The success was made all the more impressive given that the Bonfire Field ladies only had ten players!

Topsham scored 191 for 7 off their 35 overs with Claire Thomas leading the way with 113 not out.

The supporting acts came from Sally Hammond (26) and Jen Lynch (12), and there were also cameos performances by Hannah Clark, Emma Kislingbury and Claire Pym.

In reply, North Devon were only able to score 173 for 8 off their 35 overs owing to tight bowling and good fielding.

Pick of the Topsham St James bowlers were Clare Pym with three wickets for 24 runs off seven overs and Claire Thomas with rwo wickets for 13 runs off four overs.
