WOODBURY under-10s won their soft ball pairs game at Ottery St Mary by 24 runs, thanks to some good all-round cricket.

WOODBURY under-10s won their soft ball pairs game at Ottery St Mary by 24 runs, thanks to some good all-round cricket.Batting first, Woodbury closed on 184 led by Conall Deehan Jackson and Sam Corney (35), Kieron Williams and Ben Matten (22) and the pairing of Harry Reay and Joseph Oates (21). Simmonds and Peters were the home bowlers to claim wickets.When Ottery batted, Peters and Glanville (31) and Smith and Singh (30) were the main run getters but the bowlers held sway as Dominic Hawes (2-8), Adam Woodman (2-8) and Sam Corney (2-4), all claimed wickets.There was also a fine catch from Woodbury's Joseph Oates.
