Kinslingbury a big hit for Topsham Ladies.

Topsham St James Ladies XI continue to make good progress.

Their latest game saw them defeat Sandford by four wickets.

Sandford batted first and made their way to 169-6 from their 35 overs. Three of the Saints Ladies bagged a brace of wickets.

Claire Thomas took 2-19 from seven overs, Jenny Thorne picked up two for 25 in seven overs and Laura Thompson, who sent down two overs, finished with the figures of 2-4.

Emma Kinslingbury was the star of the successful run chase hitting a highest knock of 77. The best of the support came from Thorne who completed a magnificent shot with an unbeaten 66 to go with her earlier wickets.

The Saints sealed the game in the 32nd over at 170-6.
