Girl power once more as Woodbury defeat Clyst St George in under-10 pairs match.

Woodbury were 36 run winners when the faced Clyst St George in a Bradleys East Devon Youth League under-10 Pairs match.

Batting first, Woodbury were led to a respectable total of 176 by Beth Cooper and Emma Corney who put on 36 whilst the pairing of Matthew Miller and Jake Pond accounted for a 26 run partnership.

There was also a 17 run offering from Jack Hope and Max Handford.

When Clyst batted they were restricted to 140 with Jack Hope, Matthew Miller and Beth Cooper each bagging a brace of wickets.

Jack Rogers and Max Handford also claimed a wicket each as Woodbury continued their excellent form this term.
