EXMOUTH Under-10s had a fine game with Clyst St George that saw them emerge victorious.

EXMOUTH Under-10s had a fine game with Clyst St George that saw them emerge victorious.

Clyst batted first and closed their spell with the bat on 171-5.

Casey Hann took 1-8, Luke Davis bagged a brace to finish with figures of 2-4 from two fine overs and Sam Austin also claimed a wicket with 1-11.

There was also a superb run out completed by Ryan Schlaefli.

Casey Hann and Phoebe Andrews got the Exmouth innings under way with a partnership of 23.

Next up was Ben Richardson and Jack Sylvester and they, too, put on 25 before the pairing of Sam Austin and Ryan Schlaefli added a further 15.

The final pair, Luke Davis and Max Reader added 19 at the close of the innings, Reader cleverly batting out the final over by blocking all six deliveries so as to ensure victory for his side.
