The captain of the England Women’s Cricket Team will be heading to Sidmouth this weekend.

Heather Knight will be among the Berkshire squad as they take on Devon at Fortfield on Sunday, May 19.

The all-rounder began her career in Devon having first started at Plymstock Cricket Club in the Devon Cricket League.

Since then, her career has taken off. In 2017, she captained England to victory in the World Cup and was awarded an OBE in the Queen's 2018 New Year Honours list.

She will be heading to Sidmouth with her Berkshire teammates, which includes England fast bowler Anya Shrubsole, to take on Devon in the third round of the ECB County Championship.

The game starts at 11am at Fortfield and all are welcome.
