Edworthy and Craib bag braces of wickets in narrow Woodbury under-10 defeat

Woodbury under-10s went down by a margin of just six runs when they met Budleigh B in their latest Bradleys East Devon league game.

Woodbury batted first and made their way to 173.

Max Handford and Jack Hope put on 28 whilst Beth Cooper and Emma Corney added 22 and Matthew Miller and Matthew Williams contributed 15. Matt Edworthy and Rory Craib both bagged braces of wickets for Budleigh.

In the reply, Ed Lister and Charlie Mears put on 31 and then Ed Slade and Jake Yarwood contributed 27 before Ashir Prasad and Rory Craib took their side to a narrow victory with 13. Rhys Parks took the only two wickets to fall in the Budleigh innings.
