Conway bags fivefer as Exmouth II march on with third straight win

Exmouth 2nds made it three wins in as many 2nd XI A Division matches with a comprehensive nine wicket Maer ground success over Tavistock II.
It was a day for Harry Conway to savour as he sent down 7.1 overs and claimed five wickets for 24 runs. Michael Collinge picked up 3-14 and the visitors were bundled out for just 125.
Stuart Rintoul and Fin Marks then very nearly woo the game without loss. Rintoul fell at 114 for a splendid 57-ball 53 which included seven 4s. Marks was not out 43 at the close and Exmouth sit proudly on top of the early season table.
Hatherleigh are the only other team to have own all three and they sit three points behind in second place.
On Saturday Exmouth II travel to face a Barton II side who have lost all three of their games so far.
