Having postponed their junior awards evening two weeks ago due to an Environment Agency warning of a major flood risk, Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club were finally able to hold their evening event last Friday.

Club secretary Sean Mills thanked the colts’ managers for all their hard work and the catering teams for their contribution to making Friday training evenings so enjoyable and to all the parents for their help and support.

He outlined the successes of the colts teams mentioning also those colts who had received representative honours.

Colts co-ordinator Jon Whitfield presented the Junior Colt of the Year award to Jack Lamour with the Senior Colts award going to Jack Garner.
