The Cranford Club in Exmouth has come to the aid of talented young local kite surfer Oliver Bridge in a deal that should be of great benefit to the youngster.
EXMOUTH’s exciting young kitesurf talent Oliver Bridge, has been given a major boost by a local business.
The Cranford Club in Exmouth has just signed up the 13-year old Exmouth Community College student who is the current European under-15’s Kitesurf champion and who is set to compete, in 2011 in the under-18 age group!
The fantastic facility provided by the Cranford Gym allows Oliver to build strength, endurance and flexibilty during the colder winter months when getting on the River Exe is more limited!
Over the last week Oliver has been seen on the Treadmill after school and says that the staff have been really useful in creating a programme for his needs.
Oliver is one of the many kiters seen displaying aerial tricks off Exmouth beach on any windy day and is pushed by his two younger brothers all eager to catch him up.
