Cranbrook Arrows club secretary, Sam Jamieson, says: “We began as a club around two-and-a-half years ago and since we launched we have had some 55 ladies – and men – come along and enjoy their netball.

“Netball is a great way to keep fit and it is also a wonderful social game and we are lucky to be able to train at the Cranbrook Education Campus every Wednesday night.”

She continued: “We have more and more people coming along to our training sessions as our town grows and we have made some wonderful friendships and organise some lovely social events.

“We started out as a ‘back to netball’ team and most of the girls have not played netball since they were at school.”

Cranbrook Arrows currently sit mid-table in their division of the Honiton Netball League.

The club embraces a wide range of ages and abilities and are always delighted to welcome new members.

Sam says: “In the last four weeks alone we have taken in as many as 20 new members, we really are a club that is increasing in size at a rapid rate.”
