EXMOUTH NETBALL LEAGUE: Comets 73, Revels 19 Comets got off to a flying start and, leading 16-6 by the end of the first quarter, went from strength to strength for the rest of the game.

Jacqui Rice at goal-attack made it difficult for the Revels' defence, linking superbly well with Tracey Cartwright, at goal-shooter, who was also on top scoring form.

Revels' centre Sue Myers and wing-attack Jackie Cox worked hard to supply their shooters with scoring chances.

Comets' defence took advantage of Revels' missed opportunities to drive forward the attack.

Despite the goal difference increasing each quarter, Revels continued to play attacking netball.

Comets' overall strength, and excellent team play, saw them to an emphatic win.

Tracey Cartwright (goal-shooter) was Player of the Match for Comets. Centre Sue Myers took the award for Revels.
