Clyst St Mary's Perry bags England international success.

NATIONAL over-60s table tennis veterans champion Penny Perry, of Clyst St Mary, helped England to a team silver medal in an international open event in Istanbul when teams from Germany, Bulgaria, Turkey and Russia also competed.
She won seven out of the eight matches she played.
And Penny followed up this triumph with a highly successful appearance in a six nation’s event in Guernsey.
Teams from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man took part.
Penny, playing with three men in the over-60s section, picked up a gold medal.
Locally, she plays for Coaver B in the Exeter and district Table Tennis League, and is currently unbeaten this season.
