CLYST St George head into match day eight of the Francis Clark Devon League looking to claim a third win of the B Division season.
They travel up the North Devon Link Road to take on a Barnstaple side who themselves have only enjoyed a brace of wins in their first seven games.
Barum opened with a heavy defeat to Axminster and then drew with Brixham before back to back wins, first by 72 runs over Cocking ton and by eight wickets against North Devon rivals Bideford. That game proved to be their last win though for there are without a victory in three since that derby game. They were beaten b y 83 runs by Plympton before their most recent outings, a draw with Shobrooke Park a fortnight ago and then last Saturday’s draw winning draw with Chagford.
Barum will start Saturday’s match sitting fourth bottom, immediately above Clyst St George who begin the game 14 points behind them.
