Cannon and Mack just outside top one hundred nationally in EBU Spring Pairs

The EBU Spring Pairs event was held at Exmouth Bridge club, writes Carla Pickering.

Seven couples competed and, in terms of the club standings, Terry Cannon and Nigel Mack were the top scorers with 63.54 per cent.

However, the percentage was adjusted nationwide to 57.70 which paced them a superb 101st in the country!

Although coming third on the night with 53.13 per cent Brian Hughes and Barbara Corsbie overtook Shelagh Hughes and Chris Thomas to finish 250th in the field of 786 pairs with a final score of 53.78 per cent.
