Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club teams have played lots of matches over the last couple of weeks due to the need to catch up after the poor weather of early July.

Two very talented young batters then battled the bowling attack, crawling the home team’s total to 125 all out. Chris Battin took 4 wickets for Budleigh, two of which were catches taken by Neil Murrin diving at slip.
During their batting innings, BSCC lost an early wicket, but runs came steadily with Marc Troman punishing any bad balls, and scoring a very respectable 60 not out. Steve Booth, Neil Murrin and Harvey Shipton supported this along the way, cementing Budleigh’s victory.
