A big increase in membership to the Budleigh Salterton Rifle Club meant tat four teams were entered into the Devon Winter League.

After regular close competition, divisional honours were not decided until the last round was shot.

The Budleigh A side won division two, the B team finished top in division four, the C team won the fifth division and the D team finished a respectable fifth in division six.

There was individual success for the club also with Mike Pulham winning the County Under-16 Individual Trophy as well as reaching the final of the NSRA/Ely competition.

Young Pulham also recently shot a perfect 100!

Another huge plus at them club was the selection of five members to represent county teams.

Dave Lemon, Simon Teed and Robin Hopkins were called up for the County Seniors, Margaret Powell for the Ladies team and Mike Pulham for the juniors.

The summer season of competitions is now in full swing including shooting on the outdoor range.

The club welcomes new members with coaching available at club, county and national level.
