Budleigh Salterton Ladies went down 0–1 to a very late goal at home to Axminster Town Ladies, in a match marred by controversies.
The one causing the most outrage was a very late offside flag against the Robinettes, not only did it deny the hosts taking the lead through Suzy Osborne in the first half, but the crowd believed it to be a gross injustice.
Sadly, it was not the only curious decision of the afternoon. With full time fast approaching it was the Tigers who pounced to net the crucial goal, and with it a narrow victory that sent Axminster through the semi-finals of the Graddon Vending Devon FA Senior Cup.
In the League, Seaton Town finally got their first win of the season, when they visited Exeter University. A Jess Hodge hat-trick and one each from Jasmine Dack and Georgina Lamprill gave them a 5-1 win.
