Played as round robin triples the Budleigh ladies were going for a hat-trick of wins, but this was not to be as the ladies from Sidmouth were victorious.

Wendy Cox, Janice Quinn and Jill Bishop won three of their five matches with a winning score of plus 15 shots scoring two ends of five to take the trophy.

Budleigh took second and third places with Melissa Camp, Joan Cowing and skip Joan Shaw plus 10 shots and Ann Goddard, Lilian Grainger and Marilyn Jackson plus nine shots.

A great afternoon for all concerned, and thanks to the support of the Budleigh men, as Brian Goddard, David Roberts and Dick Mitchell served a jam and cream tea and drinks from the bar.
