A great start to the Budleigh Salterton Bowls Club Evening League has seen the Budleigh Buzzhawks register a hat-trick of wins, writes David Roberts.

The run of triple wins has also meant maximum points from the first three games for the Buzzhawks.

The Maderia Robins sit in second place.

They have also won all three of their matches so far, but have lost two rinks to their opponents.

Last week’s action in the league saw the Madeira Bluebirds have a close overall win against the Exonia Eagles.

Matches this week see the Budleigh Falcons against Sidmouth and the Maderia Bluebirds take on the Maderia Robins.
