Budleigh Salterton were unable to become the first side to inflict a defeat on the all-conquering Bradninch in the A Division of Devon cricket.
Budleigh were put into bat by their visitors and the Bradninch bowling attack was electric, ripping through the top six without anyone reaching double figures.
It was looking bleak for Budleigh on 35-6 but massive credit to Tom Oxland (16), Ed Doble (45) and Lloyd Mourrin (46 no) for taking the score to 150-8 from 50 overs.
Bradninch, however, can match the potency of their bowlers with a powerful batting line-up, although Doble did manage to remove Ankit Badwal for 8.
Gary Chappell was a picture of patience at the other end, working his way to an unbeaten 53 from 90 balls and a 77 for Ross Acton ensured the visitors comfortably reached their target for an eight-wicket triumph.
