Exmouth Sea Angling Association members had a successful time when they went to Burnham on Sea.

A TRIO of intrepid Exmouth Sea Angling Associaiton members ventured to Burnham on Sea, writes Tim Clotworthy.

The anglers, Shauna Hole, Mike Richardson and Andy Browning were specifically targeting conger, hoping to add this species to their tally in the Club’s Specimen League competition.

The best catch the three of them managed was a wonderful 9lb 11oz conger, caught by Andy browning.

Browning caught the fish on a combination sprat and squid bait.

The trio also caught several codling up to three pounds in weight on crab and fish baits.
