Exmouth kite surfer aces the Bridge family have been riding more successful waves, their latest triumphs coming in French waters.

Representing GB in the youth Kitesurf Freestyle European Championships in France Olly, Guy and Tom Bridge all had podium finishes.

In the Under-14 section there was a titanic struggle between the Spanish entrant and our own Tom Bridge who, at the tender age of 12, served up the highest scoring tricks to win this category closely followed by his older brother Guy who is 13 years old and claimed second place.

In the under 16 category the oldest of the Bridge brothers, 15-year-old Olly, the current Youth World Race Champion, took third place overall with Spanish and French competitors in the top two berths.

Oliver and Tom Bridge also returned home to Exmouth with victories in the Boarder Cross discipline which involves jumping over large obstacles with your kite while racing around a course!

The Bridge boys all attend Exmouth Community College and are supported by The Cranford Club and Edgewatersports.

Most evenings and weekends the trio can be seen out on the Exe practicing their kitesurfing skills.

The next stop on the tour is the Youth World Championships in July in Spain. Follow any action on or twitter; stephbridgekite
