AVRs at Haselbury Trail 10k led home by Dominic Schneider

Three AVR’s completed the Haselbury Trail 10K in Somerset, writes Dave Mutter.

The race was hit by rain for the first time in its 27 years of being staged!

It was won by Kieran Young of Wells City Harriers in a time 37:45. Dominic Schneider was the first AVR home, finishing 24th in 46.51.

He was followed by Eleanor Wood who was 3rd lady, 29th overall in 46:51 and Jack Dickson 51st, 53.11. In all 122 runners took part in the event.

Meanwhile, in other AVR news, on the road back from injury, Carol Austin ran Cannon Hill 5k Parkrun in Birmingham on Saturday in a time of 22 minutes 35 seconds.

She was first in her W50 age group and also the fourth woman finisher from the 446 runners.
