Chris Williams, a Welsh International had a clean sweep, winning all his games and carrying off the trophy, but he had some talented opposition and a number of triple peels were successfully achieved over the course of the two days.

All the visitors were warm in their praise for the quality of the lawns and the excellent catering.

Chris won a near perfect game with a hit-in with the third shot of the game followed by a break to the tenth hoop.

His opponent just missed with the fourth ball and Williams went on in the fifth turn to complete a triple peel and peg-out.

Manager Cliff Jones said, 'I have known Chris for twenty years and I have never seen him play better!'
