In a classic game of two halves, Budleigh Salterton were the victims of an almighty comeback from Ottery St Mary, surrendering a 3-0 lead to lose 4-3 at their East Devon neighbours, writes Alan Beer.

Budleigh took lead when Morgan Pearce was fouled and Jack Hocking scored with a delicious free-kick from 20 yards. Ten minutes before the break, Liam West added a second from a corner flicked on to the back post and he was there to convert

On the stroke of half-time, Hocking made it 3-0 with a 25-yard screamer and Budleigh missed two sitters to put the game to bed before the Otters grabbed a foothold in the game.

The hosts scored two goals in quick succession through Riki Pitter and Marius Pislaru. Budleigh were suddenly rocking and the game was pulled back to 3-3 when Jack Hobday equalised. Seb Copp then scored a dramatic winner for the Otters.

Budleigh must regroup for the visit of Plymouth Marjon next weekend.

After a goalless first half, Elburton Villa took the lead on 59 minutes, but within ten minutes it was 1-1, Tim Whiteoak finding the back of the net with a fine finish.  So, it remained to the final whistle, a draw being a fair result to an entertaining contest.
