On Friday, December 15, a total of 21 golfers and partners from the Exmouth
branch of u3a enjoyed an Xmas Lunch at Exminster Golf Club.
The Club has been hosting the u3a Golf Group for several years, with players
enjoying twice-monthly visits to Exminster.
Tony Mackness, the u3a Golf Group organiser, commented: “We always look forward to our visits to Exminster and playing a well-kept and challenging course. Several of the u3a players have taken out membership at the Club and, as well as playing with their u3a colleagues, are playing in Club competitions.”
The Exmouth branch of u3a has over 1000 members, who have a choice of over 100 activities and sports in which they can choose to participate.
